Pink is the new orange....




In an interesting turn of events, ended up in the hospital and got a new cast.

This one still comes off on the originally planned date, September 21st.

the adventure continues...

And the kids did have their way huh - if I remember right - they were rooting for a pink cast, right ? :)

it was painful, but it is now under control. dry skin inside a cast =pain.

the new cushioned cast is going to help me get through the last 10 days.

Exactly the kinds of cast my son had during his fracture in Feb. Seven weeks - I was thanking my stars it was not in peak summer. It used to break my heart - the itching on some days. I used to try and rub the top of his arm that was exposed and put some cream there...God one should not get these things. I hope the healing is rapid and you are back to normal soon. Good luck.
