Raising Miss USA

Sunday Morning and we are still not fully awake. Our daughter is singing

happy birthday merry cow
happy birthday merry cow

and then says

"merry cow has happy birthday too !"

One of my technical instructors at work (an american born and raised in Ukraine) once said "guys, I dont just talk with an accent, I also listen with one !".

We were listening to our daughter with an indian accent. Finally my wife figured out that our daughter was singing ...

"happy birthday to A-meri-ca "

"america has a happy birthday too"


Guess they had taught her the song the week before at daycare for 4th of July and she decided to unleash this one on us this weekend..

Man! We got to learn that accent now !
